How do I earn XP?

Battles grant XP. When you reach a new level, the game shows the rewards available to claim.

What do I receive at a new level?

You receive skill points and Survivors. The Survivors join your Capital when you claim the displayed reward.

What happens to my level at the end of a season?

Your level, XP, and skills are seasonal progress. They restart with the new season. Items that carry across seasons are identified separately in the game.
