Code of Conduct
Last updated: July 5, 2026 · Version 1.0
Blackout: Reborn is a multiplayer game with chat and clans (Factions). This Code of Conduct sets out the behavior expected of all players and the applicable sanctions. It complements our Terms of Service.
1. Fair play
To keep the competition fair, you must not:
- cheat, or exploit bugs or flaws;
- use bots, third-party software, or any form of game automation;
- buy, sell, trade, or share game access, or engage in any real-money trading outside the official store.
2. Respect for other players
The following are strictly prohibited:
- harassment, hate speech, discrimination (origin, gender, orientation, religion, disability, etc.), threats, and incitement to violence;
- sexual, violent, or shocking content, as well as disclosing another person's private information (doxxing).
3. Chat & communication
The game and Faction chat exists for coordination and exchanges between players. The following are prohibited there:
- spam, flooding, and unsolicited advertising;
- malicious or fraudulent links;
- impersonating another player or a member of the Spirit Forge team.
4. Account access & security
You are responsible for the use and security of your access to the game, under the conditions set out in our Terms of Service. Sharing access in order to circumvent these rules — for example, to evade a sanction — is prohibited.
5. Reporting
To report a player or a message, email [email protected], including where possible the display name of the player involved, the date and time, and a description of what happened (a screenshot helps).
6. Sanctions
Breaches are sanctioned according to their severity and any repeat offenses, on a graduated scale: warning, temporary suspension, then permanent ban. Serious cases (cheating, harassment, illegal content) may result in an immediate ban without prior warning. Decisions are at Spirit Forge's discretion. A ban issued for a breach of this Code does not entitle you to any refund of any purchases.
7. Changes
This Code of Conduct may change. The version in force is the one published on this page; the last-updated date appears at the top.
