What should I do first?

1. Capture neutral Outposts around your Capital.
2. Upgrade your Capital to increase its production.
3. Keep Survivors in important cities.
4. Spy on a target before a risky attack.
5. Join a faction to play with allies.

Your Capital cannot be attacked. Your Outposts still need protection.

Why are there game-controlled opponents?

During testing, they create activity on the map and help test the game's mechanics. They will be removed after the testing phases.
